Dan Nyirady, PhD, LMFT
Owner and Clinical Supervisor
I work with individuals, couples, and families who feel stuck in recurring patterns, relationship distress, or life transitions shaped by loss, anxiety, or trauma. My approach is collaborative and relational, grounded in the belief that people are not the problem—the problem is the problem. In therapy I help clients slow things down and make sense of how difficulties have taken shape in their lives and relationships.
Together, we will listen for patterns, as well as moments of agency, care, and resistance that often get overlooked. We will focus on understanding what matters, taking responsibility without shame, and creating room for change that feels meaningful and that can last.
I am the owner and clinical supervisor of Ripple Effects and the Director of the Couple and Family Clinic at Alliant International University in Los Alamitos. I have over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, supervision, and mentorship, and my work is informed by narrative, experiential, and relational approaches.
