Meet Marielle

Every person carries a story—one shaped by lived experiences, cultural roots, relationships, and the challenges faced along the way. You and your story matter. I have witnessed unique stories of resilience, and I am privileged to be the “story keeper” who walks alongside you. I honor your presence by creating a safe space free from judgment. I am here to listen with genuine compassion, authenticity, curiosity, and creativity. I want to give you the utmost care as we explore the “why,” “what,” and “how” of your life.

My clinical experience in the juvenile justice system, school settings, women’s shelters, and the Alliant Couple & Family Clinic has strengthened my purpose as both a therapist and a human being. I am passionate about supporting children, teens, young adults, and their families as they bridge gaps in understanding, communication, and connection. I’m committed to walking alongside children of divorce, single parents, and those navigating life after loss. I also sit with couples managing pre- and post-marital concerns.

Through the lenses of trauma, culture, and family systems, I help harmonize the needs of blended families and immigrantswho are exploring a sense of self. Your faith and spirituality are also welcome in this space. I am very comfortable and familiar with the Christian faith and the Bible. If these are a source of strength for you, I am more than happy to incorporate those conversations and principles into our work together. I hold a special place in my heart for women healing from the effects of abuse and grief, as well as those navigating women’s health challenges.

I believe in giving a voice to those who have felt unheard. I am here to help you reclaim the choices and power that may have been taken from you. My work is deeply trauma-informed and grounded in Narrative Therapy, Play, and Art Therapies. I am also Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed. I am fluent in English and Tagalog and can provide therapy in either language.

Your story isn’t finished. While a chapter may be closing, a new one is just beginning. Together, let’s explore the threads of your experience and shape a narrative that reflects your values, your strengths, and the future you want to create. I look forward to meeting with you, either in person or virtually.

I see clients in person in Los Alamitos and via telehealth across California. I take private pay with sliding-scale fees, and Aetna, CalOptima, LA Care Health Plan, and Molina Healthcare of California insurance. I also accept Medi-Cal and Medicare through these insurance plans. To see more information, see fees and insurance.
